James is head of private offices at Floreat, a private finance company based in London. In his over 30 years’ experience, he has managed some of the most complex legal issues faced by private clients across the globe.
James is involved in philanthropy in both a personal and a professional capacity. On a personal basis, James was a former trustee of St Paul’s cathedral and a member of the development board for the Woolf institute at Cambridge. He served from 2017-2021 as a trustee for Children and the arts (CATA). He has travelled frequently to Brazil and has supported several organisations since 2005. He is committed to helping indigenous people and the valuable role they play in preserving the Amazon rainforests and culture.
James qualified as a solicitor in 1982 and studied Corporate Finance at London Business School.
